Having immigrated from South Africa in 2015, after selling their construction and maintenance business, Lunell Van Zyl joined the OfficeMax New Zealand team as Office Administrator in a temporary role and was soon offered a permanent position as Office Administrator/Executive Assistant. Lunell took care of the 8 members of the Executive Leadership Team and managed 5 diaries on a daily basis.

Lunell has more than 28 years’ experience in Office Administration, Accounts and Executive Assistant work. She looks to excel at every turn and considers one of her greatest skills to be her attention to detail and takes a great deal of pride in her work. She has great people skills and prides herself on being a team player and is always available to help her colleagues when required. She enjoys working and interacting with people and feels that one of her strengths is her ability to communicate with people. She is hardworking, trustworthy, dedicated and always gives 100%, constantly aiming to improve and develop her skills.

Lunell has just completed a course in Excel Data Analysis and Reporting as well as Power Point Mastering Presentations. She is currently busy with her Certificate in Accounting Administration and Payroll. She is eager to learn as much as possible.

She decided that it was time for a career change; to learn something different and decided to apply for a position within the Harcourts, Pukekohe Rentals and Property Management Team. She looks forward to growing in this role and in this industry. Lunell looks up to her peers will learn as much as she can from her teammates.

Being an outdoor enthusiast, Lunell and her partner, Kobus (JJ for short), loves camping, motorbike rides, 4x4 trips and being out and about as much as possible. No, she does not ride a motorbike herself! She pillions with her husband and knows how to pack minimalistic for camping and long trips on the bike.
